Spanning five floors in one of the first green skyscrapers in NYC, this legal headquarters embraces a hospitality flavor to encourage wellness and comfort. Stunning ceiling and lighting treatments throughout celebrate rich materials to create a warm and inviting environment.

A custom installation in the elevator lobby takes flight with acrylic butterfly forms suspended in a floating cloud of sparkling diodes. The dazzling array gives way to a glowing sawtooth walnut ceiling, which brings a layer of warmth in the mostly marble reception space. Stunning glass barrel pendants suspend sixty feet through the central connecting stair, while light lines trace bronze soffits to delicately wash silk panels that vary in color on each floor for wayfinding.

Our lighting scheme balances plentiful daylight at the perimeter and maintains a bright and open feel as one moves into more interior offices and spaces. Offices are treated residentially with integrated miniature LED linears in millwork edges and a custom bronze and wood pendant over each central desk to provide balanced and comfortable light. Indirect cove lighting is continuous throughout passageways and contribute to uniformity and an open feel.
