Spark’s architectural lighting articulates Eisai’s company goals and brand aesthetics for their North American headquarters. Playful geometric patterning, bold moments of color, and linear statement fixtures abstractly represent the company focus on human health care. Elements evoke their Japanese heritage: paper lantern–shaped pendant lighting, illumination of wooden partitions that mimic shoji screens, a chandelier made of cherry blossom–shaped glass.

A two-story entry was updated with the hospitality feel of sparkling downlights, targeted art lighting, and color programmable lighting in the stairsteps. Old fluorescent slots were re-fitted with custom troffers with tiny LED stars overhead. The Café Area features luminous boxes over the cashiers and light disks hovering above seating to create a clever canopy. Flying X’s animate a high-ceiling conference center. Ribs of light turn corners and outline core elements to create a stack of light rings when viewed from outside. Banquettes and booths are accented by light lines that fold from wall to ceiling. Playful figures of light unify and activate flexible collaboration rooms. Layering of illumination and concealed accent of feature materials bring gathering areas to life with visual comfort.
